New Mexico Kratom Advocates
Your voice is the most powerful tool we have.
Legislators respond to real people, not statistics. When you share your experience with kratom in your own words, on video, it becomes part of the official record that shapes New Mexico law.

Why it matters
One video can change a vote.
18
states have passed the Kratom Consumer Protection Act
87
written statements logged at the March 2026 Senate Health hearing
2027
is when New Mexico’s next session opens — we’re building the record now
Legislators hear from industry lobbyists every day. What moves them is hearing directly from constituents — people in their own district, explaining how kratom fits into their wellness routine and what’s at stake if access is restricted.
What to talk about
Your story guide.
No script required. Answer whichever of these feel right to you, in your own words. Two or three minutes is plenty.
01
Why do you use kratom?
Talk about what drew you to it — your wellness goals, your daily routine, what you were looking for. Focus on what it does for your quality of life.
02
When did you start and what was going on in your life?
Give context — a year, a season, a chapter of your life. You don’t need to share anything you’re not comfortable with.
03
How has kratom supported your life?
Be specific and personal. Work, family, sleep, energy, focus, peace of mind — whatever is true for you. Specifics are more powerful than generalities.
04
What would you do differently if kratom were no longer available?
Describe what your routine would look like, what you’d have to figure out, and why that matters to you.
05
What do you want New Mexico lawmakers to understand?
Speak directly to the camera as if you’re talking to your state senator. This is your chance to be heard by the people who make the decisions.
Recording your video
Three simple steps.
1
Film on any device
Your phone camera is perfect. Find a quiet spot with good light — facing a window works great. Sit comfortably, look at the camera, and just talk. Aim for 2–5 minutes. You don’t need to be polished. You just need to be yourself.
